Iverson's Design, Olympia, Wash, was honored with an Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) 2004 International Achievement Award for its outstanding specialty fabric projects.

Spanning more than a half century, the IFAI International Achievement Awards is an annual world-class competition that recognizes companies for their innovations in design and/or technology in the specialty fabrics industry.

Iverson's Design won three awards. In the competition's Marine Exterior Fabric Products (Sailboats) category, the company received an Award for its Dodger for Hans Christian Sailboat and an Outstanding Achievement Award for its Dodger for Dana 24-Sailboat. In the competition's Marine Exterior Fabric Products (Powerboats) category, Iverson's Design won an Outstanding Achievement Award for it's Canvas Enclosure for Powerboat.

The 57th-annual competition received 370 entries in 21 countries. This year's competition has the second highest number of participants in the history of the International Achievements Awards program. Entries in 26 categories were judged by a diverse panel of industry experts, editors, architects, educators and design professionals selected for their knowledge of the particular category of competition. Judging was based on complexity, design, workmanship, uniqueness and function.

This annual competition is sponsored by IFAI, a not-for-profit trade association whose member companies represent the international specialty fabrics market place. The 2004 International Achievement Awards were presented during IFAI Expo 2004, the Americas' largest annual specialty fabrics event.
